Our students prepared to welcome Ree Drummond,aka The Pioneer Woman, with song and western dress up
for a very special day, September 19. Of course, they
spent time reading her wonderful books about her
wonderful bassett hound, Charlie, too.
As the day approached, you could see signs of her
visit all about the library.
Ree Drummond spoke to first through third
grade classes. She shared about life on the
ranch and about her loveable dog, Charlie.
It was a fabulous memory making day
for all of us! A big "thank you" to our
friends at the Best of Books Bookstore
who provided us with the special author visit.
