TODAY IS THE DAY !!!!!!
THOMAS JEFFERSON IS COMING TO OUR SCHOOL !!!!!!
What a tremendous joy to learn from one of our nation's greatest leaders.
Third through Fifth grade students listened to Mr. Jefferson
share details about 18th century America.
Even a lesson on civility was included!
Bows for the boys....
and curtsies for the girls.
His presentation was eloquent and timely and the
students were charmed and captivated.
And imagine my great pleasure at having lunch with him as well !
Delicious food -
but the best thing on the menu was hearing him share more about
Thomas Jefferson.
Thank you so much to the friends who provided this wonderful opportunity
for the students and teachers.
