Why - an annual visit from Dr. Booklove
is a sure cure for what ails our books
and keeps our collection healthy!
Coat, stethoscope, googly glasses,
silly German accent, ......
so crazy but the students love it !
We talk about getting rid of such dreadful diseases
and conditions as:
Icky Sticky Itis
Scribble Virus
Broken Spines
Animal Attacks
and the dire ...Overdue Flu.
Once we completed our training,
students created heart shaped hats to signify they were
joining the Book Lover's Patrol!
Older students tried their hand at portraying the
famous Dr. Booklove
and then made some beautiful bookmarks
as Valentines for their books!
